Cookie
Policy
This policy explains what cookies are, which ones hhathletes.com uses, and how you can manage them, in compliance with Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. They allow the site to remember information between pages or between visits, such as preferences or user sessions.
There are different types depending on their purpose: technical (necessary for operation), analytics (to measure use of the site), and advertising (to show personalized ads).
2. Cookies used by this site
This website uses first-party cookies only: technical cookies, strictly necessary for its operation, and a source attribution cookie that is only created if you arrive through one of our campaign links. No third-party cookies, third-party analytics, or advertising cookies are used.
If you access the site directly, without a campaign link, and do not change the language, normal visiting and browsing does not create any cookies in your browser.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| hh_admin | Technical / Necessary | Authentication for the internal administration panel. It is only set when an administrator logs in. Regular visitors never receive this cookie. | 7 days |
| hh_attr | First-party / Source attribution | Remembers which of our own campaign links you arrived from, so we know which channels work for us. It is only created if you access the site through one of those links. | 30 days |
| hh_lang | Technical / Language preference | Remembers the language (Spanish or English) you choose with the ESP / EN selector. It is only created if you press that selector, and it only stores “es” or “en”. | 1 year |
About hh_attr: it is only created if you arrive through one of our campaign links—for example, the one we send you by direct message on Instagram—and it stores the campaign and the identifier of that link. If you purchase coaching, that information is attached to the payment record in our payment gateway (Stripe), which is what lets us know which campaigns work. It is not shared with third parties, is not used for advertising or profiling, and does not track your browsing on other websites.
That same information may also be saved in your browser's local storage (localStorage), under the same name and with the same expiration, as a backup for when cookies are not available.
Technical cookies do not require prior consent, since they are essential for the operation of the service that creates them. The hh_attr cookie is not essential: if you block it, the site and the purchase process work exactly the same, and the only consequence is that we will not know which campaign you came from. You can prevent it from being installed by blocking cookies in your browser (section 4).
3. Third-party cookies
This site does not install third-party cookies during ordinary browsing.
4. How to manage or delete cookies
You can set your browser to block or delete cookies, or to notify you about them. Here are links to the instructions for the most common browsers:
Please note that blocking the hh_admin cookie only affects access to the administration panel and has no impact on the experience of regular visitors to the site. Blocking hh_attr does not affect your experience or your ability to purchase either. If you block hh_lang, the website will not remember the language you chose, but you can still change it with the selector.
5. Updates to this policy
We may update this cookie policy to reflect changes to the site or to applicable legislation. The current version will always be available on this page, indicating the date of the last update.
